TIGERS founder Dianne Loy Ferri Crampton identified TIGERS' six core values (trust, interdependence, genuineness, empathy, risk, and success) in answer to the question, "What is necessary to develop an ethical, quality-focused, productive and successful group of people?"

Simply put, TIGERS advocates that group members be integrally involved in group decisions and direction. The result is a team whose members hold a shared understanding of the group's goals and mission; understand and accept their individual roles, accountability and responsibility; and work to develop proactive and positive group relationships. Without this values buy-in at a work-group level, organizations risk poor productivity through service and production errors, poor decision-making and problem-solving, and inefficient system communications and production flow.

Listen to a brief discussion about how TIGERS came about.

. . . between people and work quality. Its six identified values demand integrity, self-reflection, personal accountability, and work excellence from all people within any organization of two or more who have come together to achieve something of value. When held in common, these values energize people, promote success, and develop cohesiveness through empathy and respect.
