Simply put, TIGERS advocates that group members be integrally involved in group decisions and direction. The result is a team whose members hold a shared understanding of the group's goals and mission; understand and accept their individual roles, accountability and responsibility; and work to develop proactive and positive group relationships. Without this values buy-in at a work-group level, organizations risk poor productivity through service and production errors, poor decision-making and problem-solving, and inefficient system communications and production flow.
Listen to a brief discussion about how TIGERS came about.
